NOTE: If you are coming here from Etsy, I will absolutely honor the prices listed here/below if you contact me through my website here, or Facebook. I have to mark my Etsy prices up much higher because of astronomical fees and being forced to roll in the shipping. Please just contact me via email or Facebook.

Baby Clothes Memory Quilts are one of my most popular products! They allow you to memorialize 25 or 30 of your favorite baby clothes. This quilt measures about 56x64. The current price is $295 (plus shipping if you’re not local). This quilt is perfect for clothes size of newborn- about 24 months. SOME Preemie things work well (sleepers in particular usually work) some do not (onesies can be a bit difficult). If you have clothes that are bigger than 24 months, please check out my memory quilts here.

I can use almost any piece of clothing/blanket/etc. I cut my squares 6.5 by 6.5 inches. If you have a question whether or not something will work, you can lay 2 dollar bills in a cross on the item - this gives a general size reference. I always request you send in 2-3 extra items in case something you send doesn’t work.

Things that generally DON’T work are crocheted items, some knitted items, most bibs and hats (they’re generally too small). That’s just about it. I can usually eek out a square of most other things!

I’ve used blankets, lovies, onesies, overalls, jeans, sleepers, pants, skirts, some bibs (the really giant ones), and lots of other things!

Once you’ve picked your clothes and sent them to me, we’ll choose the fabric to go around the clothes. You can be as hands on or as hands off as you want in this process.

First you’ll choose a fabric to go between all the pieces. I call this the sashes. You’ll also choose a color for the tiny corner square of fabric in the corners of the pieces. And then you’ll choose 2 borders. You’re welcome to tell me you just want it super girly and pink, or you’re welcome to help me choose each of the 4 fabrics. Totally up to you!

I no longer offer embroidery names on the border, but I can apply heat trasfer vinyl name to the border if you desire! This is a $10 uncharge.

Please let me know if you have any questions! I do not currently offer any other sizes, but you’re welcome to message me for a price if you truly want a larger size.

Memory Quilts

I had a hard time naming these quilts. All my quilts are memory quilts, but these tend to be used as memorial quilts the most often. I decided on memory quilts because of that, but please know, if you have lots of graphic t-shirts with big designs, you absolutely can get a t-shirt quilt and it still be a memory/memorial quilt! That said….

These memory quilts are wonderful for a variety of fabrics. As I said on the T-Shirt Quilt post, IF YOU WANT MULTIPLE QUILTS: I can usually only get 2 squares (if that) out of any piece of clothing for a t-shirt quilt. If you are having a memorial quilt made, and have limited clothing, you may want to consider my memory quilts (link coming!). These quilts work great with polo shirts, button up shirts, pants, jackets, robes, stretchy material, etc. They do not work well with graphic t-shirts with large designs, unless you’re ok with splitting that design up. Stretchy T-shirt fabric is absolutely fine, its merely for the design size. Shirts with only a small design work fine. I can usually get 4-6 squares out of each piece of clothing (unless they’re very small) with the memory quilts. The overall quilt is smaller, however, but if you need multiple quilts with a limited amount of clothes, this is the way to go.

As for sizing, I cut the squares for this quilt 9”. That means this is also an excellent choice if you want a quilt made out of children’s clothes that are too big for a Baby Clothes Memory Quilt and too small for a T-Shirt Quilt.

  • 12 squares, 51x63= $175

  • 16 squares 63x63 = $200

  • 20 squares, 63x75 = $225

  • 25 square, 75x75 = $275

  • 30 squares, 75x87 = $325

  • 36 squares, 87x87 = $350

Much like T-Shirt Quilts with sashes, you will choose fabric that surrounds your shirts. So, I will ask you what colors you’d like, and then help you choose 3 fabrics. One for the sashes (the fabric that goes between the shirts. Most people choose a neutral for this, but that’s not always necessary!), one for the cornersquare (the fabric square between the sashes) and one for the border (the fabric that goes all the way around the outside of the quilt)l. You can be as hands on or hands off during this process as you want. I will send you photos of everything I have on hand, and if you hate it all, I’ll go to the fabric store! My ultimate goal is for you to be happy. I know these quilts hold a lot of memories, and I want to make sure to preserve those as best I can.

I get a lot of questions about my t-shirt quilts, so I thought I would try to make a series of blog posts that would be informative!

I offer two styles of t-shirt quilts, one with sashes between the t-shirts, like this:

T-Shirt Quilt with sashes

I also offer T-shirt quilts with no sashes, like this:

A T-Shirt quilt with no sashes

For quilts WITH sashes, I charge by the shirt, really. I have a specific amount of shirts that will fit within each size. I offer the following sizes:

  • Lap quilts:

  • 4 shirts(approx. 48x48): $120

  • 6 shirts (approx. 55x72): $165

  • 9 shirts (approx. 72x72): $200

  • Bed Quilt Sizes:

  • Twin size (66x96, 12 shirts) $225

  • Regular (81x96, 12 shirts OR 16 shirts) $275

  • Queen (90x102, 20 shirts) $325

  • King (108x108, 25 shirts) $395

  • King ( 30 shirts) $470

  • King (36 shirts) $545

These quilts have a set amount of shirts within them, like I stated previously, but the quilts WITHOUT sashes are a bit more flexible. For example, I still charge $225 for a twin size quilt, but I can usually fit 16-20 shirts in a twin size. The maximum amount of shirts is 36-40, depending on the shirts. I never cut something I cannot use.

For T-shirt quilts, you don’t have to use just t-shirts! T-shirts, sweatshirts, Dry-fit shirts, jeans, pajama pants, robes, button up shirts, dress shirts, etc can all be used in this size. I cut all squares 15x15, or occasionally 12x12, so USUALLY tank tops are out. You’re welcome to send one if it has special sentimental value, but I do need an extra shirt as well.

IF YOU WANT MULTIPLE QUILTS: I can usually only get 2 squares (if that) out of any piece of clothing for a t-shirt quilt. If you are having a memorial quilt made, and have limited clothing, you may want to consider my memory quilts. These quilts work great with polo shirts, button up shirts, pants, jackets, robes, stretchy material, etc. They do not work well with graphic t-shirts with large designs, unless you’re ok with splitting that design up. I can usually get 4-6 squares out of each piece of clothing (unless they’re very small) with the memory quilts. The overall quilt is smaller, however, but if you need multiple quilts with a limited amount of clothes, this is the way to go.

I do request you send at least 1-2 extra shirts/pieces of clothing. That way if something doesn’t work, I have an extra. You can mark your extras (in a separate plastic bag, etc) or mark your must haves, or both!

Once I have cut your shirts, we will discuss what fabric you would like for the quilt. For a t-shirt quilt with sashes, you will need to decide on 3 types of fabric. One to go between the shirts (sashes), one to go in the corners of those sashes (corner square) and one to go all the way around the quilt (border). You can request specific colors, and I will do my best to find them! You can be as hands on or as hands off as you like in this process. I will happily text/email/message you photos of different fabric choices until you're happy!

Once you’ve chosen your fabric, then the rest is up to me! I cut the fabric, piece your quilt, and get it quilted. This process can take a bit due to me having to travel to quilt your quilt, but ultimately once I have cut out your quilt, most of the waiting is over!

I appreciate your business, and I’m happy to answer any questions you may have!
