T-Shirt Quilt info
Everyone has t-shirts in their closets that hold a lot of sentimental value. Sometimes they get too small, or you feel that they are no longer relevant (I mean really, I'm 33. Should I be wearing my high school graduation shirt out of the house?), but regardless of the reason, we can't make ourselves get rid of them. This is the perfect answer!
Using anywhere from 4-25 shirts, I can transform your t-shirts into a long lasting memory... a quilt!
I make a variety of sizes, included below!
Lap quilts:
4 shirts(approx. 48x48): $120y
6 shirts (approx. 55x72): $165
9 shirts (approx. 72x72): $200
Twin size (66x96, 12 shirts) $225
Regular (81x96, 12 shirts OR 16 shirts) $275
Queen (90x102, 20 shirts) $325
King (108x108, 25 shirts) $395
King ( 30 shirts) $470

Memory Quilts: works great with an array of different fabrics, does not work well with t-shirts that have a large print:
12 squares, 51x63= $175
16 squares 63x63 = $200
20 squares, 63x75 = $225
25 square, 75x75 = $275
30 squares, 75x87 = $325
36 squares, 87x87 = $350
(any of these quilts can be made with more shirts and no sashes for the same price. This does not apply to baby clothes memory quilts).

This quilt is completely customizable. I work closely with you to make sure it's exactly what you're looking for! You can arrange the shirts, or leave it to me. You can pick the colors, and even approve the fabrics. Or, you can give me artistic control and be surprised! I want YOU to be happy. It's your memories!
All prices include the material for borders, lining, batting, binding, and the quilting. Sizes may vary a bit depending on size of the shirts, how much the quilt draws up when quilted, etc. I always recommend sending 1-2 extra shirts, in case one won't work. Please note that super stretchy shirts, or super thin shirts are not a good choice. Tank tops also will NOT work. Football, Baseball, or Hockey Jersey's will not work. I will return all shirts that are not used. Sometimes we can use the "pocket insignia" on shirts as the corner pieces, be sure to note that in your order if you are interested.
Please note that I am slow. I'm really slow. I try my hardest to get your order to you 6-8 weeks after I receive your shirts, but sometimes that doesn't happen. I usually have 5-8 orders in front of you (feel free to ask before placing your order!) and I have 4 small children (ages 1, 3, 5 & 7). I also homeschool my older two, and that has to take precedence. If you need something by a specific date PLEASE let me know before you order.
Please send all shirts freshly laundered WITHOUT using fabric softeners or dryer sheets. The softeners make the shirts slippery, and I'm allergic to most scents. I would greatly appreciate it! If your shirts are not scent free, I usually have to wash them myself, and this can delay your order further.
All quilts are hugged by my 5yo upon completion of the quilt. This is included free of charge.
